Natif de Casablanca, Hisham Oumlil est installé à New York. Il travaille pendant dix ans dans l’industrie de la mode, au sein de prestigieuses compagnies tel que Loro Piana, Rocco Ciccarelli, Hermès et Versace. En 2005, Hisham fonde sa marque Oumlil. Depuis, il présente chaque année ses collections à la Fashion Week de New York. En 2008, l’artiste est récompensé d’un award, celui de Star montante par le Fashion Group International. Son travail figure dans de nombreux ouvrages: American Beauty, répertoire des meilleurs créateurs américains depuis les années 1930, GQ, Black Book, City, Departures, Vanity Fair Italie, L’Officiel Brésil, Maroc d’Exception…
